When I moved in the kitchen was an empty box that was covered in horrible orange paint and 1960's flower wallpaper. I ripped down the wallpaper before I moved anything in the house. Then I started tearing up the linoleum. I also knocked down the rear wall of the living room fireplace with the intentions of putting up open shelves and leaving most of the brick exposed. Right before my house warming party my mother in law and I slapped up a coat of paint, but even that project remains undone. The plan for this space is constantly changing and so it has been hard to move forward
